A maritime theory on one writer's nebulous whereabouts
It’s a grueling situation in which no founder of any Web site wishes to find himself: having to relay news to an inquisitive readership of the ambiguous fate of a respected colleague. Had Evan Johnston instead endured a protracted, hard-fought, and well-publicized battle with, say, dengue fever or some other tropical malady, penning a column of this sort might not be so arduous a task.
